What to Expect When You Visit

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating. At McLish Avenue, our goal is for you to feel welcome, comfortable, and never put on the spot.

• No Pressure: As our guest, you will never be singled out, asked to speak, or expected to participate beyond your comfort level.

• A Cappella Singing: We worship through congregational, unaccompanied singing. Feel free to sing along.

• Weekly Communion: Each Sunday, we partake of the Lord’s Supper (unleavened bread and fruit of the vine) to remember Jesus. 

• Bible-Focused Teaching: Our sermons and classes are rooted straight in Scripture and aim to provide practical lessons for everyday life. Most sermons and Bible classes use PowerPoint presentations. 

• No Financial Obligation: We collect an offering from our regular members to support our ministry work, but as a guest, please don't feel obligated to contribute.

• Casual & Comfortable: We don't have a strict dress code. You'll see everything from casual jeans to suits and ties.

• Families & Kids: Children of all ages are welcome in all services. We also offer age-appropriate Bible classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday at 7 p.m. We also have a quiet room at the back of the auditorium if you ever need a moment.
